Excellent tour. Never seems to be enough time at Mt. Vernon before the boat comes back.

We enjoyed our tour tremendously! It was well organised. I had booked online from South Africa and when I arrived, my tickets were waiting! Thanks so much.

Great trip. Dock was easy to reach by subway or bus. Enjoyed viewing historical sites en route and insightful commentary by guide. Shuttle from dock to estate was appreciated. Time at Mt Vernon was sufficient to see the highlights (mansion, tomb, farm) but we would have enjoyed more time at the visitor center. The mansion alone is worth the visit and provides great insight into a great historical figure. The grounds also give the visitor an appreciation of George and Martha's life as leading citizens of Virginia. On the return trip, we enjoyed a large and reasonably priced ship-board lunch and soaked up some air conditioning.

The trip was excellent. Boat clean and everyone very friendly and I can thoroughly recommend the smooothies! However, one small note of caution, the Mount Vernon Estate has expanded recently and the time on land is rather short to get round everything. Would it be possible for another hour at least on land?

The view from the mansion was breathtakingly beautiful! Will do this again with the grandchildren along.

The tour left on time and the directions to the boarding location were accurate. The ship was clean and they also arrived for pickup on time. The tour of Washington estate was excellent. The tour guides were very informative and entertaining. I highly recommend this tour for anyone visiting Washington DC.

At the beginning of the trip the personnel seemed confused about my reservation which I made on-line. However, they accepted my word and gave me a pass to go on the cruise. The boat ride was lovely and there were nice snacks on board so you could eat a light breakfast if you'd like. Mt. Vernon was beautiful and the informational staff at the home were VERY pleasant and knowledgeable. The trip was definitely one of the nicer things we did while in Washington, DC. If you can, go by water - it's a lovely ride!
